Radical retropubic prostatectomy as a solo therapy for treatment of adult rhabdomyosarcoma.

CASE REPORT A 57-year-old man presented with obstructive urinary symptoms for 6 months. Physical examination did not reveal any abnormality except for the slightly enlarged prostate. Prostate volume was estimated to be 55 mL, and serum level of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) was 5.4 ng/mL. Eight-quadrant transrectal biopsy revealed no malignancy. Transurethral prostate resection was done and pathologic examination revealed benign prostatic hyperplasia. Postoperative period was uneventful.
